Digital Marketing Manager

We are currently recruiting for the position of Digital Marketing Manager. This position plays a key role in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans that advance Wightman’s products, services, and brand through marketing, advertising, and various internal and external engagement strategies.
The position works out of the Wightman Corporate Office located in beautiful Clifford, Ontario.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s goals and target audience including annual marketing plans.
  2. Digital Marketing: Build, plan, implement, and manage the overall digital marketing strategy. Manage digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, PPC advertising, social media marketing, and email marketing campaigns to increase online visibility and lead generation.
  3. Brand Management: Maintain, enhance, and ensure consistency in branding across all marketing materials, communications, and marketing initiatives. Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including visuals, content, and communications in line with brand guidelines.
  4. Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and community TV production.
  5. Content Development: Oversee content creation and distribution, ensuring it is engaging, relevant, and aligns with brand messaging. Manage content calendars and content distribution through various channels.
  6. Partnerships and Collaborations: Manage existing partnerships and collaborations. Identify, negotiate, and build new partnerships and collaborations that can amplify the brand’s reach and influence.
  7. Market Research: Conduct market research and customer analysis to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviours. Use insights to refine marketing strategies and product/service offerings.
  8. Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and report on ROI for marketing initiatives.
  9. Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to measure the performance of marketing campaigns and provide insights to optimize strategies. Regularly track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), search engine optimization (SEO) analytics, and Google Analytics data.
  10. Team Leadership: Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, setting goals, and overseeing their work to achieve marketing objectives and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Requirements we are looking for:

  • University or College degree or diploma in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or a similar leadership role with experience developing and implementing online marketing strategies. Good understanding of online marketing tools and best practices.
  • An excellent understanding of brand building and brand management with a proven track record in creating and executing successful e-mail marketing, Internet marketing, and direct marketing programs.
  • A background in search engine optimization (SEO) and web analytics with hands-on experience with Google Analytics data, SEO, and CRM software.
  • Strong knowledge of competitive analysis methods to drive data-driven decision-making and demonstrated ability to analyze marketing metrics.
  • Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a participatory style that leads by example to set the standard for teams to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams, external third-party partners, vendors, and customers.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
