1.Press the Guide button.

2.Watch the white/grey buttons at the top of the remote to see which one lights up. This shows which device the remote is controlling.

3.The remote must be in STB mode to control the set-top box.

4.To switch it, press the STB button. Once the STB button lights up, press Guide again and continue.
