Creating a Wightman Community Board Account allows you to update and remove the listings you create. It also allows you to add favourites as you browse listings so that it’s easy to find them later. When you create your Account, you will have the opportunity to sign up for updates from Wightman about upcoming offers and promotions. Wightman will not send you offers without your permission. - contained items that are not allowed on the Wightman Community Board,
- did not follow the posting guidelines,
- or was posted by or for a business or other commercial enterprise
your ad will not be approved and posted. Please review our Listing Policies here. If you have a Community Board Account, you can login and change your listing to meet our Listing Policy and resubmit it.
- If you added your listing less than 24 hours ago, it may still be in queue to be approved. Your listing will be reviewed and posted within 24 hours during the week, or by the next regular business day on holidays and weekends.
To edit, update, or remove your Community Board listings, you must first create an account (Find out more about Community Board Accounts). If you do no have an account, any listings you add cannot be changed or removed.
To remove a listing, login and click on My Listings. Click on the title of the listing you want to remove. If the listing is Pending, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel Listing. If the listing is Active, click the Remove Listing button that appears to the right of the ad. The listing will be removed from the Community Board and will now appear under Past Listings.

A. No, you no longer require a modem with Fibre to the Home. You will, however, still require a Wi-Fi router if you want to use wireless devices like cell phones, tablets, or gaming systems. You can rent one from Wightman for a low monthly fee that includes maintenance and troubleshooting, or you can provide your own. A. No. Subscription to only one service is required to have fibre installed. However, bundling all your services with Wightman should provide you with more savings.

A. An ONT is powered by electricity but requires a battery in the event of a power outage. If you have telephone service, our battery will provide emergency power for several hours of talk time during an outage. This means that even during a power outage, you will be able to reach loved ones and emergency services.
A. No. Fibre to the Home installation is free if you subscribe to our service during the initial construction period.
A. Yes, you can keep your current phone number. Wightman will port this phone number from your current provider on your behalf.
